It took me 9 months to fully complete this piece. I had to walk away for a few weeks at a time because it became overwhelming. This painting is named “addiction” for so many reasons - but one thing I would like some to take away from this piece is the belief that even in the darkest of dark times there is always light and brightness and joy. No matter where you are in life - there is someone looking out for you. It does get better.
